HIAH Life Book

Since HIAH Wrld was created I have thought about (and implemented) things I thought would be conducive for the community. One of the community features is in-person meetups; and I asked a very talented friend of mine and HIAH Wrld member to assist in documenting them.

His name is Ty. We were friends first (as some of the greatest love stories begin) and then I quickly fell in love with his art. The way that Ty captures the world around him is a lens that is different than mine and captivating.

As we did more HIAH work and I fine-tuned the direction of the organization, I knew I wanted to create a piece of work that held the complete essence of HIAH (happiness is a hustle) from start to finish. So, I commissioned some photographs from Ty and asked him to send me his favorite pictures of nature.

I used those images to tell the HIAH Wrld story through quotes and then it all clicked. This was the piece I had envisioned. This was the art that said all that needed to be said through concise words and bold photographs. This was the masterpiece that was made from a friendship and creative space.

The HIAH Life book is the first of many projects Ty and I have planned for you. Think of it as the intro into HIAH. What I love about the book is that every time I pick it up and read a random page it changes my mood and thought process. Sometimes I am more focused, sometimes I am more creative, but ultimately I feel better after reading than I did before reading.
